Today is National Donut Day and coincidently, Dino’s Donuts is celebrating their 25th anniversary of serving donuts to Alaska. To mark this occasion we are offering a dozen of the freshest and fluffiest homemade donuts from Dino’s Donuts for only $5, regularly only $10.50.
National Donut Day is on the first Friday of June each year, succeeding the Donut Day event created by the Salvation Army in 1938 to honor the women who served donuts to soldiers during World War I. To show love to the creators of this beloved day we are also donating a portion of today’s deal to the Salvation Army, it’s the least we could do for creating such an honorable day.
Dino’s Donuts is conveniently located on Old Seward just north of Dimond and serves up both breakfast and lunch if you can be persuaded away from their donut case. They also serve up a mean brew of straight coffee or fancy espresso varieties. So suck up to the boss and all your co-workers when you show up to work with a dozen Dino’s Donuts to share! They don’t need to know you got them for only $5 (usually $10.50). They don’t even need to know your shameless desire to nail the upcoming performance review, or get a major raise. It’s a powerful goal that begins with a gooey caramel donut. Or maybe a glazed Dino bone or peanut butter & jelly filled?
